Last week I squeezed in a cheeky restaurant shoot for one of my favourite Ballarat spots, The Local Café. Their food is sensational and a lot of the ingredients are local, some even come from the owners’ garden – so many figs!
The interiors are a mix of ‘found items’ with pops of colour here and there and a lot of reclaimed wood. The small interior, rightly places the coffee machine in pride of place right at the counter so you cant miss it.
It really is amazing how many shots you can create for a space with good food in 1.5 hours and 5 dishes! Here is a snippet of the day’s output.
